Een goed begin van het nieuwe jaar met een prachtige meerstemmige versie van Woodstock van Joni Mitchell door het Zweedse duo Good Harvest, dat bestaat uit Hanna Enlöf & Ylva Eriksson. Ze zijn sterk beïnvloed door de muziek van Simon & Garfunkel, Nick Drake en Gillian Welch.

Het verhaal achter het lied, dat Joni Mitchell niet naar het Woodstock Festival in 1969 ging op advies van haar manager en dat ze tranen met tuiten huilde toen Graham Nash, David Crosby en John Sebastian met enthousiaste verhalen kwamen, vertelde ik eerder op mijn blog bij de cover van het lied door de groep Skylark.
