De Amerikaanse zanger Arnold McCuller ken ik vooral als achtergrondzanger bij James Taylor. Hij werkt al met hem vanaf 1977. Daarnaast zong hij mee op platen van Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Linda Ronstadt & Lionel Richie en bij concerten van o.a. Bonnie Raitt en Phil Collins. Daarnaast is hij ook actief in de band van Lyle Lovett, en in het nummer dat ik van hem heb uitgekozen, Gods And Monsters, speelt hij met hen samen. Wat een geweldige zanger en wat een plezier straalt er vanaf. Het lied komt van zijn album Soon As I Get Paid uit 2011.
